There are a ton of problems in today’s society but I’ll go with what I feel is the slow retardation of the general public. With the music of today and reality tv shows being so popular people are just not as educated or intelligent as they used to be. Not many people are genuinely clever anymore, not many people have an attention span of more than a few minutes and it’s a shame. We are supposed to be the most intelligent species and yet we don’t act that way. We are fascinated by the trainwrecks we see on television and the over sexed and dumbed down music of today. There may not be a solution for this problem. There are still intelligent television shows out there, great books to read, and amazing music to listen to but it’s up to the individual to seek those out and not accept this fast food “art” that we gobble up on a daily basis.
